Job title: Truck Mixer Driver
Department: Production Department
Reporting to: Production Manager
Main function:
This is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient delivery of ready mix concrete to customer job sites.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance on truck mixer every day before leaving the company (check motor oil, mixer motor oil, water radiator, tyres)
- Drives truck mixer under loading hopper to receive fresh concrete.
- Fills tank with water and sprinkles water on the truck mixer during the loading process.
- Receives delivery order from delivery coordinator and asks for information concerning location and distance.
- Drives truck mixer to location for unloading.
- Moves levers on truck mixer to release fresh concrete into container or directly into area to be poured with concrete.
- Marks the delivery time on delivery order and makes customer sign it.
- Clean truck mixer after delivery to prevent concrete from hardening in mixer and on truck.
- Maintain the property of truck mixer.
- Inform Assistant Maintenance Manager about any problems faced or any damage or malfunction in the truck mixer.
